United Nations 2021 Food Systems Summit

The Dryland Food Systems in Telangana dialogue was convened by RICH in partnership with ICRISAT to bring forth the underlying urgency in the transformation of food supply chains, and the need to promote extensive community dialogue and empower collaborative change to transform the way the world produces consumes and thinks about dryland food systems.

In the run-up to the online meeting, a series of consultation meetings with a diverse set of stakeholders including farmers, development agencies, government, Agro-industries and start-ups was organized to document their problems and potential mitigation strategies. More than 85 officials attended the meeting.
